If food is your passion or you consider yourself a wine & spirits connoisseur, our third session of our Summer School series, “Eating and Drinking Your Way Into PR” gave you insights into how the world of food & beverage marketing is ripe with opportunities for PR professionals.

Julie Sternberg, Senior Vice President in the Food & Beverage practice at Hunter PR, shared insights from 15 years of food, wine & spirits PR experience on how to secure mainstream attention for food & beverage brands, how best to integrate chefs/mixologists and winemakers into PR campaigns, how to build relationships with key influencers and journalists and how to think outside of the box in order to cut through the clutter in today’s media landscape. A networking session followed the event.

Some things Julie discussed at the “Eating and Drinking Your Way Into PR,” session:

  • How the food, wine and spirits PR landscape is changing

  • What makes an impactful food & beverage PR campaign

  • How legacy brands maintain relevancy amongst changing consumer tastes and purchasing preferences

  • The role of social media influencers in food & beverage PR

  • Why tasting is believing: food & beverage trends to watch

When: Thursday, July 19, 6:00–8:00 PM
Where: WeWork, 85 Broad Street, 27th Floor, New York, NY 10004
