Black PR Pioneer: Ida B. Wells

When the anti-lynching crusader Ida B. Wells got married in 1895, it was Page One news of the Times. "That the nuptials of a black woman, born into slavery 33 years earlier, could make the front page of the NY Times, speaks to a woman, who was, by definition, remakable."
