AT&T's 1927 educational film on dialing phones

In one of the world's first corporate education films, AT&T teaches the public how to use its newest invention: the rotary phone. "How to Use the Dial Telephone" (1927) instructed users how to place calls themselves without depending upon telephone operators. Phone numbers back then were just four digits, instead of ten. But the public still had to be instructed how to remove the receiver, wait for a "dial tone" and then dial the numbers.
