Bill Moyers and the Image Makers

In his 1984 PBS series, "Walk Through the 20th Century," Bill Moyers explores historical events and figures through newsreels, photos and interviews. The episode titled "The Image Makers" was devoted to the evolution of the PR field and its influence on history. In the first half, he discusses Ivy Lee and his representation of the Rockefellers, including an interview with son Jim Lee, and a rare short film clip of Lee; the second half features an in-studio interview with Edward Bernays, with rare footage of WWI, Presidents Wilson and Coolidge, and Bernays's early campaigns.
